Small country town looking for the perfect match

Problem

Just a little over 530km from Sydney, lives a tiny country town named Coonamble. Like other tiny country towns, they face an epidemic of its youth moving interstate, attracted to the allure and shine of the big cities.

In this assignment, we were tasked to craft a social media/ambient campaign showcasing why someone should migrate to Coonamble.

Solution

From our research, we gathered that there is an influx of Millennials moving to rural areas due to external factors like inflation and COVID - making them our target audience. With dating and relationships heavily embedded in their culture, we sought to use such language to speak to and resonate with our audience. Almost as if, finding the right one applies to both your love and your residence.

If only Cooonamble found someone who was just them. Someone who enjoyed peace, nature and art. Their perfect match.
